Sunshine Valley Utilities Ltd., including residents, seasonal residents and businesses. SVUL appreciates your water saving efforts and would like to thank all customers in the Sunshine Valley for your continued support.

No filling of a residential swimming pool, wading pool, garden ponds or decorative fountains.
 Unless otherwise noted, abide by the Stage 3 restrictions.
Please speak with your neighbours and/or their guests.

Further information.
SPRINKLING BAN: OUTSIDE WATERING NOT PERMITTED
Except hand-watering*(fruit trees, vegetables)
(Those with gardens are advised to hand water in the early morning or in the evening when less
evaporation) ONLY BETWEEN 6-10 AM
Some ideas to assist in lessening our water usage ;

  • Switch to showers. ...
  • No using water for dust control, washing cars, trucks, atv's etc..
  • Keep the sprinklers off. ...
  • Turn off the tap. ...
  • Fill up the washing up bowl. ...
  • Make sure your dishwasher is full! ...
  • Use leftover cooking water for watering plants...
  • Fixing leaks is an easy way to reduce your water footprint.
  • Fit low flow aerators on your taps and showers.

Thank you very much for all your efforts, and enjoy the remainder of the summer.
Respectfully,
Sunshine Valley Utilities Team.

Due to water restrictions the SVRA will not be filling the water barrels in an effort to conserve water. We recommend you harvest your garden boxes now.

The dry weather, lack of rain and now with a heat dome headed our way we need to do all we can to preserve the water we have and ensure there will be enough to get us through to the rainy season.

We know you have worked hard all summer to grow your vegetables, but if you can, consider harvesting now and saving water.
